How do I purchase from you?

We offer 15 CSA (Community-supported agriculture) spots that are preordered at the beginning of the season. Each CSA member receives a monthly CSA share for 6 months out of the year. (Typically, June to November.) These are delivered on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month. If you were not able to preorder a CSA, you can find us at the Saticoy Farmers Market the first Sunday of the month starting June 2022!

Do you deliver your CSA shares to my area?

We deliver CSAs to all of Ventura County and South Santa Barbara County (Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, Isla Vista, and Goleta). 

I live near Saticoy Depot. Can I pick-up my CSA to avoid the service fee?

Unfortunately, no. Our service fee covers costs associated with processing, packaging, and delivering our CSAs. This is all done off-site, so even if you live near the farm, there are costs associated with your CSA delivery. 

What if I plan to be out of town on my delivery day?

Please contact us on our “Contact” page to arrange delivery on a different day that same week. We do not offer returns or refunds for CSAs. 

Can I volunteer at Saticoy Depot?

We are a business and cannot accept volunteers. We do offer experiential learning opportunities for school groups and occasional events for community members to participate in farm work.

Are you a community garden?

No, we are not a community garden. We are a business and everything grown on the farm is for our community members’ CSA shares and farmers markets. Please also keep in mind that Saticoy Depot is a family business and our family lives on the property.

What is the building structure in the front of your farm?

That is Saticoy Community Fridge! This “freedge” (free fridge) is a resource for community members to access free food 24/7! For more information, you can follow the fridge on Instagram at @saticoycommunityfridge.
